According to Take-Two, the company recorded <em>$1.4 billion in net bookings<\/em> during the quarter, an industry metric that tracks orders placed. That&#8217;s also just a snapshot for a period that ended in June, and the game has certainly brought in even more pre-orders since then, despite its <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/entertainment\/grand-theft-auto-gta-6-price-ultimate-edition-what-you-get\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">high price<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>So, with months left before the Nov. 19 release date, it&#8217;s clear that GTA VI is on track to surpass $1 billion in preorders, if it hasn&#8217;t already.<\/p>\n<p>No one is surprised to hear that <em>GTA VI<\/em> is being pre-ordered in high quantities, but it is still interesting to get an actual number that, to some extent, reflects the hype.
