Davies<\/a> is grateful <em><a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/tip-toe\/\" id=\"auto-tag_tip-toe\" data-tag=\"tip-toe\">Tip Toe<\/a><\/em> found a U.S. home under the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe 3x BAFTA winner praised <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/starz\/\" id=\"auto-tag_starz\" data-tag=\"starz\">Starz<\/a> for having the \u201cnerve\u201d to release the Channel 4 limited series in the U.S. and Canada, despite President Trump\u2019s \u201chatred, bile and anger about minorities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s very good news that it\u2019s been picked up in the US by Starz, because a lot of the arguments in <em>Tip Toe<\/em> address many of the problems that come when the President of the free world talks with hatred, bile and anger about minorities,\u201d he told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.attitude.co.uk\/culture\/russell-t-davies-welcomes-tip-toe-landing-us-broadcaster-527726\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Attitude<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI think that has given permission \u2013 this is said on screen in <em>Tip Toe<\/em> \u2013 given permission to the whole world, or certainly the whole manifestation, to rise up in arms,\u201d added Davies. \u201cWe made Tip Toe without any American money and kind of imagined it would never get shown there, so the fact it will be shown is really exciting and says a lot about Starz.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDavies went on to commend Starz for having \u201cnerve in a world where everyone, well governments are trying to censor broadcasters.
