I want to let everyone know that he is fine now. He is being taken care of by wonderful doctors and nurses,\u201d she wrote in a post.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources told <em><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/08\/07\/celebrity-news\/reese-witherspoon-speaks-out-after-dad-is-rushed-to-hopsital\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Page Six<\/a><\/em> that <strong>John<\/strong>, 84, was found \u201cface down on the concrete by the pool of his Nashville, Tennessee condo on Friday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A nearby resident reportedly noticed <strong>John<\/strong> from their balcony and alerted the doorman. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe doorman and building manager rolled him over and they said, \u2018<strong>Dr. Witherspoon<\/strong>, are you OK?\u2019\u201d the source claimed. \u201cHe blinked his eyes, and that\u2019s when he was rushed to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>John<\/strong> is a retired otolaryngologist who served as a lieutenant colonel in the United States army reserves. As a surgeon, he specialized in issues concerning the ears, nose, and throat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThank you to everyone who reached out.
