The singer admitted she feels she failed as a mother after learning one of her sons no longer believes in God. Spears also commented on the hurtful experiences she had with her parents and her children. She said she discovered five years ago that her estranged father, Jamie Spears, and mother, Lynne Spears, had taken her sons to the beach without her. The discovery left her devastated and made her question herself as a parent. Spears wrote that she feels like she \u201cfailed as a mother\u201d because one of her sons told her he does not believe in God.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p>Despite that heartbreak, Spears said she still believes in God and the Holy Spirit. \u201cThere\u2019s a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven \u2026 I\u2019ve been there I\u2019ve felt it,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Spears also said her father kept her from having simple moments, like going to a diner with a new friend, because of media attention. She said those experiences demoralized her. She also said she cried for two months after hearing about her parents spending time with her children.<\/p>\n<p>The pop star also reflected on her life and said that she \u201cnever got to be me\u201d as people took advantage of her. Spears called herself an \u201cangel\u201d and said she misses the excitement of life.<\/p>\n<p>She questioned how the government could have allowed her experiences to happen. She also said people look for heroes even though everyone is human. At the end of her message, she wrote, \u201cWe\u2019re all stars in my eyes cuz I\u2019m just mamma now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spears has faced several personal challenges in recent months, including a DUI arrest in March and a rehab stay that ended in April, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/30\/celebrity-news\/inside-britney-spears-fresh-start-after-rehab-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Page Six<\/a>.
