It\u2019s daily. And I think it\u2019s challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_x__c gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Biden\u2019s oldest son, Beau Biden, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2015\/05\/30\/beau-biden-son-joe-biden-dead-brain-cancer\/28243791\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">died in 2015 at age 46<\/a> after battling brain cancer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">In a previous interview with CBS\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/video\/jill-biden-joe-biden-prostate-cancer-diagnosis-just-shocking-sunday-morning\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">\u201cSunday Morning,<\/a>\u201d Jill said it was \u201cshocking\u201d to learn of the diagnosis after Biden underwent regular evaluations in the White House. And the expectation is we\u2019re going to be able to beat this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Biden later provided another health update, saying he was receiving treatment and that it was going well. About 1 in 8 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.org\/cancer\/types\/prostate-cancer\/about\/key-statistics.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">American Cancer Society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_anc\" id=\"gnt_atomsnc\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" data-gl-method=\"loadAnc\" aria-label=\"Newsletter signup form\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The disease is often treatable when caught early, but cancer that spreads beyond the prostate can be more difficult to manage.
