Located in the village of Staplefield, nestled within the county of West Sussex, about 38 miles from London, this country home\u2014which once belonged to Princess Margaret and her ex-husband, photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/style\/2017\/01\/lord-snowdon-obituary\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"text link\">otherwise known as Lord Snowdon<\/a>, is now on the market.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/bluebookagency.com\/properties\/old-house\/\" class=\"external-link text link\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/bluebookagency.com\/properties\/old-house\/&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/bluebookagency.com\/properties\/old-house\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Blue Book Agency<\/a>, the real estate firm handling the sale, the Old House is on the market for 3.95 million British pounds, about $5.3 million. The listing for the estate notes that the Old House was renovated by the late Lord Snowdon. The home had been given to him in 1958 by his uncle, the famous interior designer Oliver Messel, to celebrate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/2017\/12\/princess-margaret-the-crown-true-story\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"text link\">his marriage to Princess Margaret<\/a>. A blend of Tudor and Georgian styles, the property charms with its distinctive facade, peaceful gardens, and interiors\u2014some dating back several centuries\u2014that have been meticulously modernized.
