Sadie has since participated in portions of the casting process where chemistry between Jean and other characters will be important.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, I met with <strong>Jake<\/strong>. I met him the first time he came to see\u00a0<em>John Proctor<\/em>,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt was this weird thing of being at the early stages of putting\u00a0<em>X-Men<\/em>\u00a0together, but he knew I was the only piece of the puzzle at that point, because I was the only mutant that had been established.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sadie <\/strong>continued, \u201cSo, yeah, a lot of talking to him about casting and where the script was going and all of that. It\u2019s interesting to be at the very beginning of it. Now that it\u2019s out and\u00a0<em>X-Men<\/em>\u00a0is being talked about and it\u2019s happening, it\u2019s so exciting to think about what\u2019s next for her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She also knows when production is expected to begin, but she understandably kept the exact timing under wraps.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-sadie-shared-how-she-landed-the-role-of-jean-grey\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sadie shared how she landed the role of Jean Grey<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sadie <\/strong>revealed in a separate interview with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/story\/sadie-sink-x-men-jean-grey-spider-man\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Vanity Fair<\/a><\/em> that she did not audition for Jean.
