Back in February, her bandmate Manon announced her own temporary hiatus, citing her \u201cpersonal health and wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt truly breaks my heart to have to miss out on a lot,\u201d Sophia wrote in a statement. \u201cYou know how much I love being on stage, performing, and sharing these moments with you. Making this decision wasn\u2019t easy, but I\u2019m learning that health has to come first. See you soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In its own statement, KATSYE\u2019s label, HYBE UMG, said that \u201cfollowing thorough consultations with medical professionals, it has been advised that [Sophia] take dedicated time for extended rest and ongoing care to ensure a full recovery. While Sophia herself is eager to perform alongside her members, the health, safety, and long-term well-being of our artists will always remain our highest priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to closely monitor her progress and support her journey,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cWe plan to reassess her condition in September and will share a further update with fans at that time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KATSEYE are set to release their new EP, <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/04\/katseye-wild-ep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Wild<\/em><\/a>, on August 14th. Before then, the group will perform at 88rising Festival: Head In The Clouds in Pasadena this weekend and appear on <em>The Tonight Show<\/em> on August 12th.
