However, they did not reveal the identity.<\/p>\n<p>Page Six has reached out to Reese\u2019s reps for comment.<\/p>\n<p>John and his wife, Mary Elizabeth (aka \u201cBetty\u201d), raised Reese and her older brother, also named John, in Nashville.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cLegally Blonde\u201d star\u2019s parents were both in the medical field. The family eventually settled in Nashville after John fulfilled his draft obligation for the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u201990s, John and Betty separated and began living separately \u2014 news that came to light only when Betty <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2012\/05\/11\/legally-banned\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lodged a bigamy lawsuit<\/a> against John in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Betty had read about John\u2019s new marriage to Tricianne Taylor in the local newspaper. She demanded that his second marriage be annulled, arguing that John had failed to divorce her before getting married again. <\/p>\n<p>At the time, Betty detailed in the suit that they\u2019d lived separate lives due to John\u2019s issues with alcohol, infidelity and hoarding.
