The bassist, singer, and producer has shared a new version of Human League\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t You Want Me\u201d with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/cat-power\/\" id=\"auto-tag_cat-power\" data-tag=\"cat-power\">Cat Power<\/a>, reimagining the synth-pop classic as a laid-back reggae song that swaps intense, icy keyboards for horns and an easy, swaying groove. The track is the latest preview of <em>Synonym, <\/em>Ndegeocello\u2019s upcoming album of collaborative covers due Oct. 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tOn the original 1981 hit, the sharp-edged synthesizers and dramatic lovers\u2019 quarrel are what make the song so captivating.
