Carlson&#8217;s recent public statements have led to increasing speculation that he will mount an independent presidential run in 2028 from the hard right.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Tucker Carlson is part of a small cohort of people trying to create a new American majority premised on left-wing economic populism and right-wing social populism. Tucker is trying to create a new American majority out of left-wing economic populism and right-wing social populism. He says that his favorite Democrats are <strong>Elizabeth Warren <\/strong>and <strong>Bernie Sanders.<\/strong> Tucker is obviously engaged in a political project,\u201d Boreing says in the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JeremyDBoreing\/status\/2085116861679612390\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clip<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s sort of like a European, mid-20th-century European right-wing socialist movement. Tucker&#8217;s a socialist&#8221; he declared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Elizabeth Warren would just be against gay marriage and abortion, she would be the dream presidential candidate of Tucker Carlson,\u201d he adds in the mash-up of his takes, which also includes, \u201cIf you&#8217;re going to build a coalition that is right-wing social populism and left-wing economic populism, you have to separate off evangelicals from the American right. You separate off evangelicals from the American right by making the American right oppose Israel. I think Tucker has a vision for the country\u2014I just think it&#8217;s a very, very bad one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Boreing later shared his take on Carlson\u2019s manifesto, which included a 10-point set of values for reclaiming the America of Carlson\u2019s dreams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don&#8217;t need a new America movement. We don&#8217;t need a political party premised on left-wing economics and right-wing social policy. We need, I hate to say it, the good old USA. We need our&#8230; we need the ideals of the Declaration as ensconced in the systems of the Constitution,\u201d Boreing said, adding:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We need the civic virtue that we have lost. We need a reconstruction of the institutions, which, after Covid, did fail us. They&#8217;d been failing us for years, corrupted for years. And in 2020, they revealed themselves to be very corrupt.<\/p>\n<p>And the answer is a restoration of them. And the power to restore them is in the hands of every single one of us. It&#8217;s not national change \u2014 it&#8217;s not some great podcaster&#8217;s gonna launch a new political party and maybe run for president. Your hope is not outside; your hope is in your actions. Go do something about it. Every one of us can do something about it. If we do, we can keep the country. If we don&#8217;t, the Tucker path is not going to lead us to a restoration of American virtue.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s going to lead to the very thing that he claims we&#8217;re going to get if we don&#8217;t follow him \u2014 which is national divorce, national ruin, national collapse, national violence. That&#8217;s our future \u2014 ironically \u2014 if we continue to listen to the politics of despair and long for some sort of revolutionary future, instead of just doing what Americans have been doing for 250 years, which is being American.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Carlson, who recently boasted about starting a third party, has very publicly broken with President<strong> Donald Trump<\/strong> in recent months over the way in Iran. Carlson\u2019s post-Fox News media career has included a bevy of headline-grabbing claims, everything from promoting 9\/11 trutherism to suggesting the government was behind January 6th to saying he was physically attacked by a demon.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed_container\" id=\"e95bc2a2ba06835594883a42874f1889\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We don&#039;t need a new America.
