The sighting came after months of the internet pinning them together, with fans hoping they would date in real life. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two weeks after that sighting, it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/2026\/05\/15\/chase-infiniti-tyriq-withers-are-dating\/\">confirmed that <strong>Chase<\/strong> and <strong>Tyriq<\/strong> were indeed a new couple<\/a>. They were seen on dates in New York City as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chase<\/strong> and <strong>Tyriq<\/strong> were initially pushed together in the spotlight partly due to a shared association with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/kerry-washington\/\"><strong>Kerry Washington<\/strong><\/a>. The <em>Scandal<\/em> star had talked about the running joke that the young stars look like they could be her and <strong>Tony Goldwyn<\/strong>\u2018s kids in the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked about a potential <em>Scandal<\/em> reboot on the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hRn6TeDExYg\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(opens in a new tab)\">Call Her Daddy<\/a><\/em> podcast in March, <strong>Kerry<\/strong> responded, \u201cThere aren\u2019t, but this joke about <strong>Chase Infiniti<\/strong> and <strong>Tyriq<\/strong> being our children, this is like the joke that will not die and I love it so much. They actually do, like she has my smile and <strong>Tyriq<\/strong> has his smile.
