I spent 6 weeks going through every proper channel to resolve this. While most cards in these sets are common, some rare variants are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/arrests-so-stupid-they-made-us-lose-faith-in-humanity\/\" class=\" staff-link\">highly sought after<\/a> by collectors and can sell for thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Promo cards are special cards distributed at events or as giveaways rather than found inside regular booster packs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy son opened booster packs in an onboard store. He knew the value. He followed up for six weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The Disney representative handling his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/disney-deleted-thread-backlash\/\" class=\" staff-link\">grievance<\/a> \u201cagreed this was unfair,\u201d and she pushed for the management to \u201cmake it right,\u201d Anthony said.<\/p>\n<p>He asked for a new booster pack, worth around $140, in exchange for his troubles.
