rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shamea Morton\u2019s<\/a> husband, Gerald Mwangi, not Porsha, was the biggest reason Shamea\u2019s peach on <em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/em> was delayed. However, some fans are pushing back on Andy\u2019s version of events after he alleged that the businessman \u201cdidn\u2019t want cameras filming in their home,\u201d a claim Shamea has said is untrue.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-fans-of-porsha-williams-and-shamea-morton-are-digging-up-receipts-to-see-who-s-telling-the-truth\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fans of Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton are digging up receipts to see who\u2019s telling the truth.<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As previously reported, the conversation exploded after Andy addressed the topic on a recent episode of <em>Radio Andy<\/em>, revealing that he spoke with Gerald Mwangi for the very first time about the situation at the<a href=\"https:\/\/bossip.com\/4612116\/real-housewives-ultimate-girls-trip-roaring-20th-premiere-party-recap\/\"> <em>Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th <\/em>premiere party <\/a>on Aug. 4. According to Andy, <a href=\"https:\/\/bossip.com\/3565322\/porsha-shamea-rhoa-fight-beef\/\">the real holdup wasn\u2019t Porsha<\/a> as Shamea alleged this season and last, after she claimed the show veteran was adamant that she shouldn\u2019t have a peach since #RHOA was \u201cher thing.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apparently it was Gerald\u2019s reluctance to film at their home that caused the delay.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That sent Porsha supporters into full detective mode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fans quickly resurfaced multiple interviews from 2025 in which Shamea herself admitted that her husband, Gerald Mwangi, a Kenyan native and business executive who serves as the president and CEO of an HVAC company, was hesitant to participate in the show, making her own decision to join much more complicated.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an interview with<em> E!
