Check out the joyous single \u2018Can\u2019t Get Over Losing You\u2019 below.<\/p>\n<p>The record marks the fourth from the Australian electronic group, and is set for release on October 16. <a href=\"https:\/\/theavalanches.lnk.to\/NoBadMemories-UK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visit here<\/a> to pre-order.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Melbourne artists, the LP comes inspired by the \u201csimultaneously magical and insidious\u201d ways that jingles and advertisements go into our memories, and is meant to be an \u201cambivalent ode\u201d to nostalgic jingles and start-up sounds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been interesting as adults to reflect on this often stunning period of marketing \u2013 the creativity, filmmaking, photography and music \u2013 which was also selling a completely unobtainable dream,\u201d the band shared. \u201cThe way we value devices and products; the way we reflect and represent \u2018a life lived\u2019; the wonder of memory and deep power of nostalgia, especially in sound.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They continued: \u201cRevisiting imagery and jingles from childhood and realizing how profoundly they have stuck. We feel very fortunate to make music together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The praise was reciprocated by Portraits of Tracy too, who shared: \u201cWorking with The Avalanches was such an awesome experience! I don\u2019t find myself collaborating too often with peeps, but as soon as we connected it felt just right. We started the song in 2024 and rerecorded it \/ finished it in 2025, and now she just sounds lovely!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The band recently performed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/live\/primavera-sound-barcelona-2026-review-3949573\">Primavera Sound Barcelona<\/a> and announced a run of London headline shows as part of Pitchfork Music Festival in November. I just heard all the shit I should\u2019ve done better.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a great relationship with the album now. It sounds like a very young me made it. It\u2019s na\u00efve, heart-on-sleeve, it was never cool or ironic.
