Guided by his concept of \u2018Ecstatic Truth,\u2019 Herzog advocates a cinema that transcends the mere observation of facts to reveal a deeper, more poetic dimension of reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tRegarded as a pioneer of New German Cinema, Herzog\u2019s credits include \u201cAguirre, the Wrath of God\u201d (1972), \u201cFitzcarraldo\u201d (1982), \u201cGrizzly Man\u201d (2005) and \u201cCave of Forgotten Dreams\u201d (2010).
