Jolie<\/b> and son of Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, recently made a <b>deeply personal revelation<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on his ex-wife <b>Romi Imbelli<\/b>\u2019s Substack livestream, Haven shared something that he has kept a secret all his adult life: <b>he is gay<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes more than two years after Imbelli moved to <b>annul their marriage<\/b>, reportedly citing the reason as \u201cfraud.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-highlights\"><span class=\"h2\">Highlights<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"bullet-wrapper\"><i class=\"bullet\"\/><\/span><span>James Haven, Angelina Jolie\u2019s older brother, recently came out as gay at 53.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"bullet-wrapper\"><i class=\"bullet\"\/><\/span><span>He shared the update on his ex-wife Romi Imbelli\u2019s Substack two years after they married and split.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"bullet-wrapper\"><i class=\"bullet\"\/><\/span><span>Imbelli said she felt deeply hurt by Haven, but has found a way to reconcile and still considers him her \u201clife partner.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Actor and life coach Imbelli married Haven on August 12, 2024, in an intimate ceremony in Laguna Beach, California, and reportedly filed for annulment 15 days later.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI no longer feel the need to apologize for the parts of me that make me who I am,\u201d Haven href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/best-coming-out-stories\/\" class=\" staff-link\">came out<\/a> on Imbelli\u2019s Substack.<\/p>\n<p>It was the 21st chapter of Imbelli\u2019s digital memoir <i>Breathe Mija<\/i>, titled <i>Two Souls Finally Free<\/i>, in which she documented her life, including her relationship with Haven.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was a little boy, I was absolutely obsessed with the Disney princesses,\u201d Haven admitted. \u201cI would sneak glitter onto my cheeks, swipe mascara onto my lashes, and for those moments, I felt like magic.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote He was brave before he even knew it,\u201d Haven concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Haven, like Jolie, had been estranged from his father for a long time, reportedly over the fallout from his parents\u2019 1976 divorce and tensions over financial support.<\/p>\n<p>They reconciled in 2007 after Bertrand\u2019s demise.<\/p>\n<p>According to <i>Page Six<\/i>, Haven is set to launch a weekly podcast, <i>Safe Haven with James Haven<\/i>, in which he will talk to guests about their \u201clife choices and turning points.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Imbelli still considers Haven her \u201clove\u201d despite being staff-link\">close friends<\/a> for more than two decades before they decided to tie the knot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew it, and I wanted to support you and love you, and then I didn\u2019t want to believe it because then it would mean losing you in that capacity, which I couldn\u2019t,\u201d <i>The Real L Word<\/i> star said.<\/p>\n<p>She confessed that she fought an internal \u201cbattle\u201d
