Chatting to Zack Wickham on the Friday, July 17 episode of her \u201cWhen Reality Hits\u201d podcast, Brittany, 37, vowed to share how she really felt about it all when the time was right. \u201cAll I\u2019m going to say about this [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>However, a separate source exclusively told <em>Us<\/em> on Wednesday that the public perception of Lori\u2019s personal and professional ties to both Jax and Brittany is not accurate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLori understands why Brittany feels betrayed. But the narrative that they were still \u2018like family\u2019 when this all happened isn\u2019t accurate,\u201d the source told <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cBrittany and Lori haven\u2019t been close in a very long time. Their relationship had changed significantly. They saw each other only a couple of times in the past year, never spoke outside of work, and Lori\u2019s role had been reduced primarily to coordinating media interviews. She had already been trying to transition away from representing Brittany because she increasingly felt caught in the middle of an extremely difficult situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source pointed out, \u201cThroughout Jax\u2019s addiction and recovery, Lori supported both of them in different ways. As Jax made progress and focused on rebuilding his life, the professional and personal dynamics shifted. None of that changes the fact that Lori understands Brittany\u2019s hurt, but the picture being painted of their relationship at the time isn\u2019t an accurate one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jax responded to Brittany\u2019s <em>WWHL<\/em> appearance in the Instagram comment section for the show, accusing his estranged wife of telling \u201cblatant lies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During her sitdown with Andy, 58, Brittany opened up about the betrayal she felt over a formerly close confidant dating Jax. (Jax and Brittany separated in February 2024 and initiated divorce proceedings that August. She was my family member, the person I went to whenever I was being abused in that relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jax\u2019s attorney, <strong>Mark Vincent Kaplan<\/strong>, has denied Cartwright\u2019s claims of abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the segment, Brittany claimed that her only communication with Jax since the scandal erupted is when he \u201charasses [her] on our parenting app constantly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe just kinda fights with himself on there,\u201d she joked. \u201cIt\u2019s really bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked by Andy whether Lori and Jax are still \u201cseeing each other,\u201d Brittany replied, \u201cI guess!
