The San Bernardino County and L.A. County sheriffs\u2019 departments said the detective was serving a search warrant when gunfire broke out and he and a suspect were hit. <\/p>\n<p>The detective was airlifted to a Lancaster hospital and reported in stable condition.  The suspect was killed, officials said. <\/p>\n<p>Aerial views of the scene showed two SUVs and a deputy\u2019s ballistics vest abandoned on the ground at the scene. Los Angeles County officials confirmed that the agency airlifted injured people from the scene. The SUVs had bullet holes visible in their windows.<\/p>\n<p>Dozens of L.A.
