You know that I would repair things with Dorit,\u201d Kyle, 57, told <em>Us<\/em> exclusively at the <em>Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th<\/em> launch event on Tuesday, August 4, at the Lobster Club in New York City. \u201cI would like to be able to put that behind us and start over and maybe get some things off my mind, some things that people had done and said this last season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kyle added that she has not heard from Dorit, 50, but she did reach out to \u201ccongratulate her\u201d for the release of her memoir, Unburdened, which dropped in June.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther than that, no, I haven\u2019t heard from her or anything,\u201d Kyle told <em>Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kyle, Dorit is still an important person in her life, and she wants to be there for her one-time BFF amid her divorce from PK Kemsley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,\u201d she told <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cI just feel like we\u2019re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dorit and Kyle have had a lot of ups and downs in their friendship over the years. The pair experienced their first crack during <em>RHOBH<\/em> season 13 when Dorit expressed concerns that Kyle was prioritizing other friends over her. Dorit also showed a message from Kyle on camera, where Kyle wrote that it \u201cbothers\u201d her to be in a \u201cweird place\u201d with Dorit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey don\u2019t even know we are going through a hard time so I don\u2019t see the need to bring it up there,\u201d the message continued. \u201cI should have said something sooner but I honestly haven\u2019t been strong enough. But relationships and YOU are more important to me than <em>RHOBH<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tension between Kyle and Dorit carried over to season 14, as Kyle expressed that she was unhappy with Dorit for sharing their private messages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t have it in me to deal with it because I had so many things on my plate,\u201d Kyle said during the premiere episode in 2025, noting that she was \u201cshocked\u201d when Dorit read their text message during the season 13 reunion. \u201cShe tried to publicly embarrass me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kyle also shared that she was still in touch with PK, which upset Dorit. Kyle broke down in tears over the situation after being confronted by Dorit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m f***ing leaving,\u201d an emotional Kyle told Dorit. \u201cPlease, OK. I love you and PK and your kids and you know that. I know that you know that. I\u2019ve been made to feel like I did something wrong \u2014 sending a text to PK.
