On Aug. 6, Bey released a new remix of the track, which features a brand new verse courtesy of her husband, Jay-Z.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The original track features the Houston native singing about romance and sex, so it\u2019s only right her other half joins in on the fun. In his verse, <a href=\"https:\/\/bossip.com\/4602188\/beyonce-jimmy-choo-x-timberland\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"4602188\">Jay-Z<\/a> raps, \u201cWe know what that night did \/ Let\u2019s see what that morning do,\u201d and \u201cWe just makin\u2019 love, we just gettin\u2019 rich \/ Y\u2019all keep doin\u2019 that, we keep doin\u2019 this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The D\u2019USS\u00c9 mogul continues to brag: \u201cB***h so bad, I had to give her my last name\/Up for the cash, came diamond in the tatted rings\/If you ain\u2019t ridin\u2019 for the gang, shut the f**k up,\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"\/>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sheck Wes\u2019 2018 smash hit \u201cMo Bamba\u201d is used as an overlay on the new bridge, which features Jay-Z\u2019s first new rap verse in nearly five years. \u201cMorning Dew (Donk) Remix\u201d also incorporates samples of the Isley Brothers\u2019 \u201cBetween the Sheets,\u201d which was famously sampled on the Notorious B.I.G.\u2019s 1994 classic \u201cBig Poppa.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The song\u2019s initial release on July 4 marked the beginning of a 60-day countdown to Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s next birthday, which also coincides with a forthcoming reissue of her album, <em>B\u2019Day<\/em>. The song is as \u201ca direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of <em>B\u2019DAY<\/em>,\u201d per a press release.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMorning Dew (Donk) Remix\u201d comes shortly after Beyonc\u00e9 joined her husband as a surprise guest at one of his three concerts at Yankee Stadium in New York City. During her surprise appearance, she took over Mary J. Blige\u2019s part on \u201cCan\u2019t Knock the Hustle\u201d before also treating the crowd to a taste of \u201cLove on Top.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BeyHive is still eagerly awaiting the release of Act III, the highly anticipated final installment of her three-act project, which is expected to follow <em>Renaissance<\/em> (2022) and <em>Cowboy Carter<\/em> (2024).
