The movie will be produced by Foxx via his Foxxhole Productions, as well as Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger via Range Media Partners, and Dave Caplan via C2 Motion Picture Group.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Foxx\u2019s last big action movie lead role\u2014for the 2025 Netflix movie <em><a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/movie\/back-in-action\/\">Back in Action<\/a><\/em>, where he starred alongside Cameron Diaz\u2014 was a long, troubled shoot. Foxx was forced to leave the shoot in 2023 due to a<a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2023\/05\/03\/jamie-foxx-remains-hospitalized-mysterious-medical-scare-not-returning-to-beat-shazam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0medical emergency<\/a>, which the star later revealed to be a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2024\/12\/10\/jamie-foxx-suffered-brain-bleed-stroke\/\">brain bleed and stroke<\/a>. But Foxx bounced back, and the film was a hit for Netflix. Now he\u2019s apparently feel well enough to lead another action movie. <\/p>\n<p>Read on to learn more about the <em>Deadlocked<\/em> action movie coming to Prime Video. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the <em>Deadlocked <\/em>movie about?<\/h2>\n<p>Here\u2019s the official logline for the<em> Deadlocked<\/em> movie, per Deadline: \u201c<em>Deadlocked<\/em>\u00a0follows a grieving former Marine serving jury duty who is forced back into action when the trial of the century turns into a deadly hostage situation as the defendant\u2019s daughter seizes the courthouse to free her father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sounds like<em> Jury Duty <\/em>on steroids!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is in the <em>Deadlocked<\/em> movie cast?<\/h2>\n<p>Jamie Foxx will star in the<em> Deadlocked <\/em>movie in the lead role, as the former Marine serving jury duty. But other than Foxx, we don\u2019t yet know who else is in the<em> Deadlocked<\/em> movie cast. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When is the <em>Deadlocked<\/em> movie release date?<\/h2>\n<p>There is not yet a <em>Deadlocked<\/em> movie release date, because the movie has not yet begun filming. We only just got the announcement that the movie is being made yesterday!<\/p>\n<p>That said, according to Deadline, the movie will be released on streaming on Prime Video. Most movies take between one to three years to complete, so we would guess that the absolute soonest you would see <em>Deadlocked<\/em> streaming on Amazon Prime would be next year, in summer 2027.
