href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/police-respond-to-perez-hiltons-home-amid-troubling-livestream\/\">disturbing livestream<\/a> in which he appeared to commit self-harm, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,\u201d the Miami-Dade County Sheriff\u2019s Office told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/08\/04\/perez-hilton-taken-to-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2026\/08\/05\/entertainment\/perez-hilton-livestream-self-harm-hnk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> and more in a statement late Tuesday, August 4.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual\u2019s family,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>While the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office did not name Hilton, 48, neighbors at the scene told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/westchester-miami-dade-deputies-response-crisis\/3842131\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC6<\/a> that they believe the person is Hilton.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on Tuesday, the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed it had \u201creceived multiple calls regarding an individual who was live-streaming acts of self-harm on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeputies quickly located the individual\u2019s residence, where they spoke with family members on scene and confirmed he was alone inside,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s department said in a statement to outlets including TMZ.<\/p>\n<p>The statement continued, \u201cIn many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize deescalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this time, deputies have tactfully disengaged while continuing to
