As his relatives attempt to sing and dance their way through the pain, the film later shifts three decades forward as the protagonist revisits and reimagines memories he was unable to fully understand as a child.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tRazo also wrote the screenplay and produced the film alongside Bruna Haddad and Carlos H. Qui\u00f1\u00f3nez for Mexico\u2019s Ojo de Vaca Productora. The film was co-produced by Brazil\u2019s Desvia Films and Denmark\u2019s Snowglobe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe acquisition follows the film\u2019s strong festival momentum. Earlier this year, \u201cSix Months in a Pink and Blue Building\u201d won four awards in the Films in Progress section at Cin\u00e9latino Toulouse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cSix Months in a Pink and Blue Building\u201d also marked a milestone for Mexican cinema, becoming the country\u2019s first feature selected for Cannes Critics\u2019 Week in nearly two decades, since Ernesto Contreras\u2019 \u201cBlue Eyelid\u201d screened in competition in 2007.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tStrand plans to release the film in North America in spring 2027. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be working on this beautiful, unique film.
