In addition to the film, an accompanying 20-song soundtrack will be released on September 25 featuring performances from the aforementioned S\u00e3o Paulo concert, and is available for pre-order on vinyl and CD <a href=\"https:\/\/linkinpark.warnerrecords.com\/en-gb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the official trailer for the film comes a newly shared recording of their 2024 performance of \u2018Somewhere I Belong\u2019 \u2013 which you can watch in full above.<\/p>\n<p>Back in June, Linkin Park\u00a0closed out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/festivals\/download\">Download Festival<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/heres-what-linkin-park-played-when-they-made-history-headlining-download-2026-3950992\">making history in the process as they became the first female-fronted band to headline<\/a>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/download-festival-2026-line-up-headliners-and-90-names-revealed-3905115\">The set marked a UK exclusive for the band<\/a>, who last performed at the event in 2014, fronted by the late Bennington.<\/p>\n<p>They reformed in 2024, seven years after Bennington took his own life, in a move that proved incredibly divisive at the time,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/chester-benningtons-son-jaime-hits-out-at-mike-shinoda-for-betraying-trust-of-linkin-park-fans-with-emily-armstrong-3791931\">with Bennington\u2019s son Jaime accusing remaining members of \u201cquietly erasing\u201d his father\u2019s \u201clife and legacy\u201d<\/a>. Choosing Armstrong as his successor was equally controversial among some fans,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/linkin-park-fans-re-share-cedric-bixler-zavalas-message-to-emily-armstrong-over-alleged-links-to-scientology-and-danny-masterson-3791311\">who pointed to her alleged ties to the Church of Scientology and previous support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of those allegations,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/new-linkin-park-vocalist-emily-armstrong-issues-statement-on-former-support-of-danny-masterson-3791563\">Armstrong distanced herself from Masterson<\/a>, stressing that she did not condone any \u201cabuse or violence against women\u201d and had only attended an early hearing in his rape trial \u201cas an observer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mike Shinoda | In conversation with NME\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Yu_bx0zNPHI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Back in 2024, when they\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/linkin-park-announce-new-singer-album-and-world-tour-3791116\">first announced their comeback<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/mike-shinoda\">Mike Shinoda<\/a> opened up about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/mike-shinoda-says-new-linkin-park-line-up-has-easily-the-best-culture-weve-had-3805956\">the \u201cculture\u201d of the new Linkin Park line-up,<\/a> saying it felt like the \u201cbest we\u2019ve had\u201d.
