responded to Perez Hilton\u2019s Miami home after the celebrity blogger shared what appeared to be a video in which he self-harms.<\/p>\n<p>Miami-Dade County Sheriff\u2019s Office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/perez-hilton-tiktok-live-miami-home-12285103\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">confirmed to Newsweek<\/a> they\u2019d received \u201cmultiple calls\u201d of an individual livestreaming acts of self harm and dispatched deputies to investigate.<\/p>\n<p>Officers spoke with Hilton\u2019s family members who were on the scene and, as the outlet noted, decided to \u201ctactfully disengage\u201d while continuing to monitor the situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication,\u201d the Miami-Dade County Sheriff\u2019s Office said in a statement obtained by
