As of May, Vance and Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz withheld more than $1.4 billion in federal funding for home health and hospice providers nationwide.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">In June, the Trump administration revealed new figures that show a drastic 7,100% spike in <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_politics_article_main-content_article-body_6_1641643\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/trump-tries-cut-blue-state-medicaid-fraud-save-more-green\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Medicare claims for skin substitutes<\/a> in just six years, surging from $200 million to $14.4 billion from 2019 to 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">CMS identified 4,200 suspicious claims for skin substitutes, known as allografts, totaling $224 million in charges through May of this year.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">&#8220;That&#8217;s a lot of money,&#8221; Oz said during a news conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday. &#8220;And that bankrupts not just hospital systems and physician groups, but it causes major problems across the entire landscape.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\"><a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_politics_article_main-content_article-body_6_1641645\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/federal-governments-landlord-joins-vance-fraud-crackdown-white-house-widens-hunt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>FEDERAL GOVERNMENT\u2019S LANDLORD JOINS VANCE FRAUD CRACKDOWN AS WHITE HOUSE WIDENS HUNT: &#8216;CRITICAL FORCE&#8217;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">President <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_politics_article_main-content_article-body_6_1641646\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/person\/donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Donald Trump<\/a> established the task force through an executive order in May.
