prize<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The winning ticket, scooped by <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/18\/us-news\/powerball-1-82-billion-jackpot-winner-revealed-as-arkansas-mayor-terry-hartwicks-brother\/\">Tracy Hartwick of Cabot, Ark.<\/a>, on Christmas Eve 2025, remains the second-largest jackpot ever won in the history of the game.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>No players had all of the winning numbers for Monday\u2019s drawing, but a $2 million ticket was bought in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2019s numbers were: 41-54-48-30-8, and the Powerball was 4.<\/p>\n<p>The Powerball jackpot was last won on May 2, 2026, when two tickets in Florida and Texas both split a $20 million jackpot.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest-ever Powerball jackpot, $2.04 billion, was won by controversial <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/26\/us-news\/2b-powerball-winner-edwin-castro-spotted-cruising-la-in-vintage-vw\/\">California ticketholder Edwin Castro<\/a> on Nov. 7, in 45 US states as well as Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p>Players select five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69, and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26, with drawings held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.<\/p>\n<p>Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Lottery is one of the largest and most profitable in North America,
