We&#8217;re having a ball. GED here we come.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That October, a judge granted Sheen&#8217;s request to no longer have to pay Richards child support.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometime in spring, in early April, Ms. Richards had a falling out with her daughters and asked Mr. Sheen to take custody,\u201d Sheen&#8217;s lawyer <strong>Daniel Pedrick<\/strong> told the judge. \u201cThat has been the reality since April of this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pedrick also said in court that his client had set up a $1.2 million trust for the kids when he first filed to alter his child support payments in December 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Outside the courthouse, Sheen told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/charlie-sheen-to-stop-paying-denise-richards-child-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Us Weekly<\/em><\/a>, &#8220;I think what transpired today is extremely fair.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Richards acknowledged her &#8220;strained relationship&#8221; with Sami in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s very difficult,&#8221; she said on SiriuxXM&#8217;s <em>Jeff Lewis Live<\/em>. &#8220;I know we&#8217;ll get back to where we were eventually but right now, it is strained. Obviously, I would love for her to live with me.
