Markle\u2019s 45th birthday, while others may give her the cold shoulder amid her ongoing estrangement from her in-laws. <\/p>\n<p>Prince Harry\u2019s dad, King Charles III, will very likely send his birthday wishes to the Duchess of Sussex on her big day Tuesday, royal commentator Tom Sykes exclusively told Page Six.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe king is a scrupulously polite man, and I\u2019m quite certain he would wish to send his daughter-in-law his birthday wishes,\u201d Sykes said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Meghan Markle (seen wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Royals expert Kinsey Schofield agreed, telling Page Six that she expects that Charles will \u201cquietly\u201d send a birthday card or modest gift \u201cthrough his staff\u201d to Markle. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharles has always had a compassionate streak, and despite everything that\u2019s happened, he has rarely gone out of his way to be overtly unkind toward Meghan,\u201d she said. \u201cA discreet gesture would be entirely in keeping with his character.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>However, Sykes believes that Harry\u2019s brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, won\u2019t be reaching out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think they will be expecting any [birthday wishes] from Prince William and Catherine,\u201d The \u201cRoyalist Substack\u201d\u00a0author said.<\/p>\n<p>The podcast host of \u201cR is for Revenge Dress\u201d also thinks the Prince and Princess of Wales will not acknowledge Markle\u2019s birthday \u201cin any capacity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe relationship simply isn\u2019t there anymore,\u201d Schofield said. \u201cThey believe Meghan played a significant role in the breakdown of family trust, and I think any suggestion that they\u2019re secretly exchanging birthday wishes belongs more in the realm of wishful thinking than reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image whether the royal family is planning on acknowledging the \u201cSuits\u201d alum\u2019s D.O.B. on Instagram, Skyes said there\u2019s zero chance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBirthday wishes to a private citizen would be sent privately,\u201d he explained, referring to Markle and Harry\u2019s  choice to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/01\/08\/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-quit-the-royal-family\/\">resign from their royal roles in 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s absolutely no way anything will be put on social media feeds or anything like that,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Schofield furthered that the royal family has consistently reserved official birthday wishes for working royals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHarry, Meghan, and their children haven\u2019t been included in that policy for several years,\u201d she pointed out, adding, \u201cPalace officials would tell you it\u2019s wife, Queen Camilla, with their two kids \u2014 Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 \u2014 in a private gathering last month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/09\/royal-family\/inside-prince-harrys-frantic-efforts-to-get-kids-to-uk-for-king-charles-reunion-despite-security-woes\/\">The reunion,<\/a> which took place at Highgrove House in the UK, was the first time the Sussexes and their kids met with Charles and Camilla all together in four years. <\/p>\n<p>While a source told Page Six that the audience <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/18\/royal-family\/prince-harry-meghan-markles-reunion-with-king-charles-wasnt-entirely-warm-and-fuzzy\/\">\u201cwasn\u2019t entirely warm and fuzzy,\u201d<\/a> Harry and Charles have been working on easing tensions after the 77-year-old king<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/02\/05\/royal-family\/king-charles-diagnosed-with-cancer-following-surgery\/\"> revealed his cancer battle <\/a>in 2024. Harry is even reportedly expected to return to the UK in September, with<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/27\/royal-family\/prince-harrys-accommodations-revealed-for-next-uk-visit-after-buckingham-palace-debacle\/\"> the opportunity to stay in a room at Buckingham Palace. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The strained relationship between Harry and William, however, appears to <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/13\/royal-family\/how-prince-william-feels-about-king-charles-and-harrys-reunion-as-royal-avoids-estranged-brother\/\">remain on ice. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last year, Markle <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/05\/royal-family\/how-meghan-markle-spent-beautiful-44th-birthday\/\">celebrated her 44th birthday<\/a> with family and friends at Beverly Hills hotspot Funke.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special,\u201d Markle<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DM_qS-Oppgd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> captioned an Instagram photo<\/a> of herself blowing out the candles on her birthday cake at the time. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Harry (seen here with his family members in 2020) has been working on mending things with his dad.  <span class=\"credit\">POOL\/AFP via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Harry and William (seen here with Markle and Middleton in 2018) have yet to make amends.  <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cTo those of you I don\u2019t know, but who send love every day \u2014 thank you so much.
