According to Maria, black, grey, and dull white T-shirts are a definite no. She explained that these shades are \u201ca missed opportunity to spark a positive feeling\u201d when meeting someone new. Interestingly, her advice contrasts with a 2018 field study that <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1177\/1474704918769417\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">found<\/a> both men and women wore more red and black clothing during actual dates\u2014possibly to boost their attractiveness or signal romantic interest.
