return to the Bravoverse, Andy Cohen insists that there will be no new additions to the Atlanta cast next season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Monday, August 3 episode of Radio Andy\u2019s <em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.siriusxm.com\/blog\/andy-cohen-real-housewives-of-atlanta\">Andy Cohen Live<\/a><\/em>, the host addressed speculation that Leakes would return and that current cast member Shamea Morton Mwangi had been fired.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The news came via <em><a href=\"https:\/\/realityblurb.com\/2026\/08\/02\/exclusive-shamea-morton-allegedly-not-returning-to-rhoa-next-season-as-bravo-wants-nene-leakes-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RealityBlurb<\/a><\/em>, which posted a report alleging that Shamea\u2019s Bravo booting was to make way for the #RHOA O.G. who recently reconciled with the network.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere are a lot of casting rumors online, which came out over the weekend, and I\u2019m gonna tell you that they\u2019re not true,\u201d Andy said plainly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He went on to essentially confirm that next season\u2019s cast will be exactly the same as this one, tellin fans that all of the clues they need looking can be found by looking at the current cast.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you want a preview of next season of Atlanta, look at this cast,\u201d Cohen said. \u201cThis is the group, guys. I mean, we love this group.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"\/>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Real Housewives <\/em>executive producer added that he had a great time filming the <em>Real Housewives of Atlanta <\/em>reunion, insisting viewers can already get a sense of the season\u2019s energy from the recently released reunion teaser.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo spoiler alert, we\u2019re very happy,\u201d Andy concluded. \u201cAs you can see from the reunion, I was very happy as the day went on.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>RHOA<\/em> is currently airing its 17th season, and NeNe hasn\u2019t been a part of the reality series since season 12. She sued Bravo and Andy Cohen in 2022, alleging the network had fostered a hostile and racist work environment and did not address alleged offensive racist remarks made by her co-star.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though she ended up dismissing the lawsuit without prejudice four months later, it still seemed like NeNe ever coming back to <em>RHOA<\/em> would be impossible.
