Zuckerman, a celebrity criminal defense attorney, former New York City prosecutor and founder of Zuckerman Legal Group, said the case will turn on Clancy\u2019s mental state at the precise time the children were killed.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">&#8220;What was in her mind at the exact time that she killed her children?&#8221; Zuckerman told Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">He said prosecutors have focused on <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_us_article_main-content_article-body_6_496817\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/lindsay-clancy-husband-testify-trial-deaths-three-children\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Clancy\u2019s trips to CVS<\/a> and a local restaurant, along with his communications with his wife, to portray her as lucid during the critical time frame.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\"><strong>WATCH: Psychiatrist calls Lindsay Clancy an &#8216;honest&#8217; patient<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\"><a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_us_article_main-content_article-body_6_496819\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/lindsay-clancy-ex-husband-details-pill-use-expert-says-evidence-could-shape-murder-trial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>LINDSAY CLANCY\u2019S EX-HUSBAND DETAILS PILL USE AS EXPERT SAYS EVIDENCE COULD SHAPE MURDER TRIAL<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Shah, an associate chief of psychiatry and medicine at Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital, first evaluated Clancy five days after the killings.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">She testified that Clancy was confused, made mistakes during a cognitive assessment and had experienced <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_us_article_main-content_article-body_6_496820\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/health\/mental-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">visual hallucinations<\/a> after spinal surgery.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Shah diagnosed delirium and said possible causes included anesthesia, oxygen problems and an elevated heart rate.
