(In Lights!)<\/a>\u201d about an elderly woman who moves to New York City to pursue her Broadway dreams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThree scripts for the single-camera project, from writer and executive producer Abbey Caldwell, were announced as being in development at the studio in April. The logline reads: \u201cOne of those classic shows about a plucky small-town optimist who moves to the big city to pursue her lifelong dream of starring on Broadway. There\u2019s just one teeny, tiny, totally inconsequential difference\u2026 our hero Hilda is a 70-year-old woman from Nebraska\u00a0with absolutely no experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tCaldwell\u2019s non-writing executive producers include Will Graham, Max Linsky and Tonia Davis for Invitation Media. The project is produced by CBS Studios.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe \u201cHilda! (In Lights!)\u201d news comes as CBS has taken bets on a handful of new, original projects. \u201cEternally Yours,\u201d a vampire comedy from \u201cGhosts\u201d duo Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, is premiering on Oct. 8 alongside the Silicon Valley-set legal drama \u201cCupertino\u201d from Robert and Michelle King. Tara Hernandez\u2019s comedy pilot \u201cThe Tillbrooks\u201d (formerly known as \u201cRegency\u201d) \u2014 a historical spin on the classic multi-camera family sitcom \u2014 was also ordered to pilot but will not be moving forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOn the CBS 2026-2027 schedule is the new \u201cNCIS\u201d spinoff \u201cNCIS: New York,\u201d which will see LL Cool J reprising his role as Sam Hanna.
