the suspect acted alone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Three people were killed and seven others injured, some critically, in the shooting, police said. An In-N-Out employee was among those killed, the company confirmed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">An armed off-duty Idaho state trooper and a private citizen confronted the shooter, likely driving him from the scene and avoiding further casualties, according to Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">A motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
