The TXSE, called the \u201cTex-ee,\u201d is looking to compete with the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Composite for listings.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange boasts several prominent financial backers, including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Charles Schwab, among others.<\/p>\n<p>It currently plans to begin corporate listings later this year and intends to facilitate\u00a0initial public offerings (IPOs)\u00a0starting in 2027. The TXSE sees the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/05\/business\/dallas-mayor-predicts-flood-of-wall-street-firms-to-quit-nyc-under-mamdani\/\">economic rise of Texas<\/a> and a broader swath of the South that it\u2019s calling the \u201cBoom Belt\u201d as being the \u201ccenter of gravity for American capitalism\u201d and a market it can tap into for IPOs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the only primary\u00a0corporate and ETP listings\u00a0venue built and headquartered in the Boom Belt, TXSE is both a product of the region\u2019s rise and a catalyst to accelerate it,\u201d TXSE explained.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s website notes the region has an annualized GDP of $8.9 trillion \u2013 more than all world economies other than the US and China. It adds that 40% of American exports pass through the Boom Belt, while <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/11\/us-news\/everything-is-bigger-in-texas-including-its-economy-as-residents-get-richer-population-booms\/\">57% of US\u00a0job growth\u00a0has occurred in the afternoon to mark its official launch.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange plans to move its permanent headquarters to the city\u2019s Bank of America Tower, where it will operate the Texas Market Center.<\/p>\n<p>The tower will be the tallest building in Uptown Dallas when it\u2019s completed.
