When his out of state family requested a police welfare check and learned the sad news, they innocently turned to Green-Battle\u2019s business to handle his cremation. Prosecutors say that instead of providing compassionate service, Green-Battle allegedly took the family\u2019s personal information and concocted a massive fraud. Within weeks, court records reveal she filed a forged last will and testament claiming to be Gammon\u2019s common-law wife and sole heir.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DbedmeMjw8R\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Chief of Consumer Fraud Adam Brodrick called out the lie directly, noting that state records show the two had absolutely no relationship prior to Gammon\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>While pretending to be a grieving widow, Green-Battle allegedly drained nearly $2.2 million from Gammon\u2019s bank accounts, including a massive $1.3 million wire transfer executed just five days after seizing control, stole his three vehicles, and took over his home. <\/p>\n<p>When Gammon\u2019s family tried to fly down from Seattle to retrieve his personal belongings, Green-Battle allegedly blocked them, lying that the residence was under a strict hazmat order.
