This time, the horror anthology series will be getting ready to rock \u2014 <i>V\/H\/S\/MIXTAPE<\/i> will be musically themed, with segments directed by <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/rza\/\" target=\"_blank\">RZA<\/a> (<i>The Man with the Iron Fists<\/i>, <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/video\/rza-one-spoon-of-chocolate-movie-inspiration\/\" target=\"_blank\"><i>One Spoon of Chocolate<\/i><\/a>), Ernest Dickerson (<i>Bones<\/i>, <i>Juice<\/i>), David Moreau (<i>Them<\/i>, <i>MadS<\/i>), and Renee Zhan (<i>O Black Hole!<\/i>).<\/p>\n<p>Zhan\u2019s segment will include original puppets created by Jim Henson\u2019s Creature Shop, which promises to be delightful. Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/flying-lotus\/\" target=\"_blank\">Flying Lotus<\/a> has directed music video interludes for the project, with the fine folks of <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/gwar\/\" target=\"_blank\">GWAR<\/a> also making a featured appearance and director Tobias Forge making his debut with a brand-new music video.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official press release, <i>V\/H\/S\/MIXTAPE<\/i> \u201ccranks the signature found-footage horror up to eleven with an electrifying new anthology where music and sound become the source of terror. United by a theme that explores the power of music, rhythm, and audio to haunt, possess, and destroy, the film blends cosmic horror, psychological suspense, outrageous splatter, and groundbreaking practical effects into one unforgettable mixtape of nightmares.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p><i>V\/H\/S\/MIXTAPE<\/i> will begin streaming on Shudder on October 9th, 2026.
