But they\u2019ve been fighting over Thomas\u2019 very particular needs, including that he goes ballistic over her wearing artificial scents of any kind.<\/p>\n<p>On the latest episode, the two go cake testing ahead of their wedding and Paula makes fun of him for thinking too deeply about the cake when he says, \u201cAll I know is I want something that tastes delicious and that I can eat without, you know, having any, like, severe repercussions from from eating it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paula cracks, \u201cYou should be a writer. You describe it with so much emotions and feeling. You go deep. Like, it\u2019s just a cake.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201c90 Day Fianc\u00e9\u201d couple Paula and Thomas got into a major argument over perfume and deodorant on Sunday\u2019s episode of the TLC show. <span class=\"credit\">TLC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>It all started when Paula apologized for wearing deodorant that day, since Thomas is sensitive to smells, explaining that she needs it because it\u2019s hot outside. <span class=\"credit\">TLC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Paula then apologizes for wearing deodorant that day but explains that it\u2019s hot and they\u2019re going to be outside the whole day so she needs it. Thomas suggests they get another hotel room for her family to stay in, but she explains she wants to spend as much time with them as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas is not OK with the arrangement, telling cameras that Paula never \u201ccut the umbilical cord\u201d from her parents and that they\u2019re too close. Meanwhile, Paula worries that her fianc\u00e9\u2019s \u201ccontrolling\u201d nature is going to make her family not approve of him.<\/p>\n<p>They continue to argue in the car after the cake testing session about her family staying with them, especially after Thomas says he\u2019ll throw away her mom\u2019s deodorant if she puts any on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI need [my apartment] to be my safe place where I don\u2019t have to be worried about invasive smells that give me an allergic reaction,\u201d he tells Paula, before insulting her taste in scents.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She told him she\u2019s inviting eight family members to their wedding in two weeks and that they all plan to stay with them at Thomas\u2019 apartment. <span class=\"credit\">TLC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas was in disbelief, noting the space is too small and he\u2019s also very particular about having guests. <span class=\"credit\">TLC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>He told cameras that Paula needs to cut the umbilical cord from her parents, saying she\u2019s too close to them. <span class=\"credit\">TLC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t need to have a perfume on to feel normal,\u201d he insists. \u201cAnd you pick some of the worst artificial smells of all time. Like, I don\u2019t know where you find this stuff.
