A recent set from Canadian power metal band The Scepter, meanwhile, proved to be a life-affirming experience for all parties.<\/p>\n<p>As CTV points out (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2026\/07\/31\/news\/canadian-hospital-hosts-heavy-metal-concert-to-fulfill-a-patients-dream-of-catching-a-live-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The PRP<\/a>), The Scepter were recently asked by Bruy\u00e8re Health in Ottawa, Canada to perform a special in-center set for Tim Berry. A 27-year-old \u201cmetalhead,\u201d Berry faces medical challenges that otherwise prevent him from attending concerts as he\u2019d hoped.<\/p>\n<p>So, The Scepter joined forces with local venue Dominion Tavern to stage a free show in a Bruy\u00e8re board room, complete with hospital staff dressing Berry in a metal tee and freshly-painted nails. (Berry was also joined by other patients of the facility for the performance.)
