Dr. Fauci whose been given a full presidential pardon pleaded the Fifth on the grounds that he does not want to incriminate himself, refusing to answer any and we do mean any questions. It <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/tv\/new-rand-paul-sets-vote-to-hold-dr-fauci-in-contempt-of-congress\/\">happened over and over and over<\/a>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly went on to say Fauci took his use of the Fifth Amendments \u201cto laughable lengths\u201d before playing a clip of Sen. <strong>Rand Paul<\/strong> (R-KY) \u2014 who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paul.senate.gov\/readingroom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">publicly released Fauci\u2019s diaries<\/a> \u2014 asking the doctor if he had a folder in front of him, and Fauci refusing to answer.<\/p>\n<p>But Kelly went further, holding Fauci\u2019s decisions during the pandemic responsible for much of what she called \u201cconspiratorial thinking\u201d in America.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span class=\"ytAttributedStringHost ytAttributedStringLinkInheritColor\" role=\"text\">\u201cBut this guy, these lies at this level are <\/span>exactly why people have become so suspicious of government narratives.\u00a0 Yeah. and believe that there are bad actors in the government who wish to control us and will tell massive hugely consequential lies to do it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>She later added:<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>People ask how we got here, you know, where like everything\u2019s being questioned.<\/p>\n<p>This this is how we got here.
