last show before <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/07\/09\/celebrity-news\/bonnie-tyler-total-eclipse-of-the-heart-singer-dead-at-75\/\">her tragic death<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Grammy nominee belted out her hit song at London\u2019s Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire on March 19.<\/p>\n<p>She was all smiles singing the \u201980s power ballad, holding the microphone out to audience members for their expected to take the stage two days later in Cardiff, the show was postponed \u2014 and Tyler <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/06\/celebrity-news\/total-eclipse-of-the-heart-singer-bonnie-tyler-rushed-to-hospital-for-emergency-surgery\/\">was hospitalized<\/a> in Faro, Portugal, at the end of April over a serious tear in her bowel.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler, born Gaynor Sullivan, underwent emergency intestinal surgery and was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/07\/celebrity-news\/bonnie-tyler-74-reportedly-in-induced-coma-after-being-rushed-to-hospital\/\">placed in a medically induced coma<\/a> due to complications href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/06\/15\/celebrity-news\/bonnie-tyler-75-wakes-up-from-coma-after-suffering-cardiac-arrest\/\">bring Tyler out of the coma<\/a>, she <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/05\/11\/celebrity-news\/bonnie-tyler-had-to-be-resuscitated-after-going-into-cardiac-arrest-reports\/\">went into cardiac arrest<\/a> \u2014 but was ultimately awoken in June.<\/p>\n<p>However, the \u201cHolding Out For a Hero\u201d hitmaker\u2019s team clarified that she was still \u201cseriously ill\u201d and had a \u201cslow \u2026 recovery process\u201d ahead of her.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, news broke of Tyler\u2019s death at age 75.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The following month, heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for,\u201d a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will issue a further statement shortly but for now ask for privacy to deal with this tragedy,\u201d the statement concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Just ahead of her health scare, Tyler <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/second-act\/886929\/bonnie-tyler-rocking-at-74-despite-knee-surgery-daily-workout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gushed to Hello! magazine<\/a> about being \u201cfit enough\u201d to perform \u201cat the moment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>While Tyler woke up in June, her team
