fired DJ and keyboardist Sid Wilson after nearly 30 years \u2014 and just months after the rocker\u2019s split with fiance\u00e9 Kelly Osbourne, according to a report.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cDuality\u201d musician, 49, was notified late Friday afternoon that he had been permanently let go from the legendary heavy metal group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/07\/31\/sid-wilson-kicked-out-of-slipknot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>No explanation for the decision has been reported, and the band has yet to announce a replacement.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Slipknot has fired DJ Sid Wilson after nearly 30 years the release of their self-titled debut album in 1999, and he remained with the group for 28 years.<\/p>\n<p>He performed under the stage name \u201c#0\u201d and handled turntables, keyboards, samples and sound effects for the Grammy-winning metal band.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Page Six has reached out to reps for Wilson and Slipknot for comment on his reported departure.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson\u2019s reported firing comes four months after he and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/23\/celebrity-news\/kelly-osbourne-splits-from-sid-wilson-7-months-after-getting-engaged-reports\/\">Osbourne called off their engagement<\/a> after four years together.<\/p>\n<p>They share a 3-year-old son, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/03\/04\/kelly-osbourne-shares-first-pic-of-son-as-he-hangs-out-with-uncle-jack\/\">Sidney, who was born in they didn\u2019t begin dating until decades later.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson proposed to Osbourne backstage in July 2025 during her father <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/06\/celebrity-news\/kelly-osbourne-and-sid-wilson-get-engaged-at-black-sabbath-farewell\/\">Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s Black Sabbath farewell concert in Birmingham, England<\/a>, just weeks before the rock icon\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson also endured a frightening health scare in August 2024 when he <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/08\/24\/celebrity-news\/slipknots-sid-wilson-hospitalized-for-burns-on-his-face-after-explosion\/\">suffered severe burns to his face and arms after an explosion<\/a> at the farm he shared with Osbourne.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Wilson joined Slipknot in 1998 as its ninth his face and arms and a blister on his lip, while assuring them he was on the mend.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond his work with Slipknot, Wilson also toured as DJ Starscream, a solo project inspired by the \u201cTransformers\u201d villain of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson\u2019s exit marks another major lineup change for Slipknot, whose original roster has steadily dwindled over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The band\u2019s nine-member lineup after its breakout 1999 album featured Corey Taylor, Shawn \u201cClown\u201d Crahan, Joey Jordison, Paul Gray, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Chris Fehn and bassist Gray died from a drug overdose in 2010 and drummer Jordison died in his sleep in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Today, only singer Taylor, percussionist Crahan, and guitarists Thomson and Root remain from Slipknot\u2019s classic lineup.<\/p>\n<p>Formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995, Slipknot became one of the world\u2019s biggest metal bands with its signature masks, intense live shows and hits
