Lawtey starred in the first three seasons of BBC and HBO banking drama <em>Industry<\/em>, before exiting before this year\u2019s fourth run.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tSam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (<em>Spooks, Humans<\/em>) are lead writers and executive producers, with Bad Wolf\u2019s\u00a0Jane Tranter,\u00a0 Dan McCulloch and Joel Collins also EPs\u00a0and\u00a0Chris May the producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAs we <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/03\/damson-idris-the-lords-day-netflix-1236766910\/\">reported in March<\/a>, the political thriller will see Idris playing a British secret services agent at the center of a crisis at the heart of British politics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPer the synopsis: \u201cOn the State Opening of Parliament, British spy Harry Jones (Idris) finds himself inside the iconic building amidst a lockdown. As the siege escalates, loyalties are tested and selfless sacrifices are made, leading to a desperate fight for survival where not everyone will emerge alive.
