The next months and years ahead are looking stacked when it comes to new releases, with Andy Serkis&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/lord-of-the-rings-hunt-for-gollum-shire-filming-set-photo\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Hunt for Gollum<\/em><\/a> on the way, Stephen Colbert&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/lord-of-the-rings-shadow-of-the-past-frodo-ending-more-brutal\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Shadow of the Past<\/em><\/a>, and of course the upcoming launch of <em>The Rings of Power <\/em>Season 3. <\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<p>While the fanbase is somewhat divided over many of these announcements, there&#8217;s no question we&#8217;re entering a new era for the franchise. Tolkien&#8217;s work. Developed by Free League Publishing and lead designer Francesco Nepitello, the award-winning RPG returned with its second edition in 2022 and continues to expand players&#8217; adventures across Middle-earth.<\/p>\n<p>Now, Free League has announced a major new BackerKit campaign that serves as a &#8220;triple offering,&#8221; featuring the campaign expansion <em>The White Tower and the Hall of Gold,<\/em> the bestiary <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/lord-rings-creatures-strange-foul-announcement\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Creatures Strange and Foul<\/em><\/a>, and a revised Core Rules compendium, all compatible with existing supplements.<\/p>\n<p>The centerpiece of the announcement is <em>The White Tower and the Hall of Gold<\/em>, a massive expansion dedicated to the kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, the last great realms of Men standing against Sauron&#8217;s growing influence during the Third Age. Players can expect to explore iconic locations and embark on adventures steeped in the ancient traditions, politics, and conflicts of these legendary kingdoms as darkness gathers across Middle-earth.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the campaign book, backers can also pick up the new <em>Creatures Strange and Foul<\/em> bestiary, packed with adversaries ranging from Black N\u00famen\u00f3rean spies and Haradrim champions to ancient evils, while the revised Core Rules refine the presentation and rules with updated artwork and clarifications.
