Turning someone\u2019s death into \u2018proof\u2019 of a curse or a TV show\u2019s mythology can erase the fact that they were actual people with families, friends, and lives beyond the entertainment people consumed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/peachdaugh688b\/status\/2082797310900085004\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comment reads<\/a>, \u201cI cannot even fathom what that\u2019s like when you and your other cast members have lost your sweet friends the way you have. People act like what it said on the internet doesn\u2019t affect people in real life. The Canadian actor was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room, with the coroner later <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2013\/10\/03\/monteith-died-next-to-heroin-drug-spoon-needle\/\">ruling his death as accidental<\/a> and caused by using intravenous heroin combined with alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>Salling <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/01\/30\/mark-salling-dead-of-an-apparent-suicide\/\">died in January 2018<\/a> at 35 years old, a month after he\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2017\/12\/18\/mark-salling-enters-guilty-please-in-child-porn-case\/\">pleaded guilty<\/a>\u00a0to possession of child pornography. His death was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2018\/02\/01\/mark-sallings-death-ruled-a-suicide\/\">ruled a suicide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rivera tragically <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/07\/13\/body-found-in-california-lake-where-naya-rivera-went-missing\/?\">died in July 2020<\/a> at 33 years old, and her death was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/07\/14\/naya-rivera-cause-of-death-ruled-a-drowning-following-autopsy\/\">ruled a drowning<\/a>. Rivera used all her strength to push her then 4-year-old son, Josey, back on their pontoon boat they rented on Lake Piru in Ventura County, California, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/07\/13\/naya-rivera-got-son-safely-on-boat-couldnt-save-self-officials-say\/\">after it drifted<\/a>. Though she was able to save her son\u2019s life, she didn\u2019t have the energy to save herself, Ventura County Sheriff William Ayub said in a press conference at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Talk about \u201cGlee,\u201d which aired for six seasons between 2009 and 2015, has revived after co-creator Ryan Murphy<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/ryan-murphy-weighs-in-on-rebooting-glee-i-love-that-show-exclusive-12028385\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> told People<\/a> Tuesday he\u2019s considered rebooting the show.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Fox hit aired for six seasons between 2019 and 2015.
