A public beta began this month, with broad availability due in the fall alongside new iPhones.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cook says the positive early reviews of the new Siri &#8220;underscores our philosophy that building AI that is private and based on personal context can change how users find information and get things done with our products in a way that truly enriches their lives.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Zoom in:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2026-06-14\/siri-ai-hands-on-review-ios-27-macos-27-details-iphone-fold-touch-macbook\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg<\/a> and others have predicted that usage of some features of the new iPhone operating system might require a paid iCloud subscription<\/p>\n<p><strong>Between the lines: <\/strong>Apple is relying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2026\/01\/13\/apple-intelligence-google-gemini-siri\" target=\"_blank\">in part<\/a> on Google Gemini models to help power the new Siri.<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor&#8217;s note: This is a breaking news story.
