I will make it up to you guys \u2014 I absolutely promise I\u2019ll be back.\u201d <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-1cd1d2\" class=\"body-graf\">Moroney added that she wanted to give her fans the show they deserved before saying she would probably go back to cry in her dressing room. Her voice sounded hoarse and it seemed she was choking back tears as she apologized to the crowd. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-eb4de2\" class=\"body-graf\">In a statement posted to her Instagram story, Moroney announced that the show would be rescheduled for August 27. Fans who are unable to make the new date would be given full refunds, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com\/article\/news\/local\/megan-moroney-ends-concert-illness\/73-efefcc7a-8033-4c39-9407-35b07847d9c2?tbref=hp\" target=\"_blank\">according to NBC affiliate KUSA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-08ade3\" class=\"body-graf\">\u201cI never ever will give you guys a show that is not 100% and I knew that I was not capable of giving that to you tonight,\u201d she wrote. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-bd9e05\" class=\"body-graf\">The country star is not the first to have to pivot mid-show due to illness this summer. Lionel Richie rescheduled dates on his tour with Earth, Wind &amp; Fire in June after feeling unwell during their opening night in in St. Paul, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-b77981\" class=\"body-graf\">Richie addressed the crowd at the time, telling them that he felt dizzy during his performance of \u201cDancing on the Ceiling,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kare11.com\/article\/news\/nation-world\/lionel-richie-postpones-two-shows-health-reasons-dizziness-opening-night\/507-7badb64b-555c-4eb9-b50d-59894354f9bd?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=facebook_KARE_11&amp;fbclid=IwY2xjawTYP_FleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFhMmNhYmxLR0k2emd4dHNNc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHiYivNIodFcWavuGuOiqR4GCBIlKySVVkvhps6OduLUp5Y5HdJzIjNb2zZX2_aem_FrklTXPx_u23jir7ShRP7A\" target=\"_blank\">NBC affiliate KARE <\/a>reported at the time. He said that he\u2019s learned over the years to sit down if he\u2019s feeling dizzy, which he did during the song. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-fe2543\" class=\"body-graf\">\u201cNow, I want you to know that\u2019s the first time in the history of \u2018Dancing on the Ceiling\u2019 I\u2019ve done it sitting down,\u201d Richie said. \u201cThat\u2019s a bad sign, that\u2019s a bad sign, y\u2019all.\u201d <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-8f68a1\" class=\"body-graf\">Live Nation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaBxCZxjG9-\/\" target=\"_blank\">released a statement shortly after<\/a> that the tour\u2019s dates in Chicago and Pittsburgh would be postponed due to doctor\u2019s advice that the 77-year-old \u201crest and return to full health.\u201d <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-5b5fd1\" class=\"body-graf\">Jon Bon Jovi was performing at New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden when he suddenly started struggling during \u201cLivin\u2019 on a Prayer.\u201d The lead singer of Train, Pat Monahan, stepped in to help finish the song. Monahan was at the venue to serve as a surprise guest. <\/p>\n<p id=\"anchor-c30848\" class=\"body-graf\">A representative for Bon Jovi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/entertainment\/entertainment-news\/jon-bon-jovi-ends-concert-sinus-infection-health-madison-square-garden\/6529982\/\" target=\"_blank\">told NBC New York<\/a> that the New Jersey native was struggling with a sinus infection.
