Getting a new <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/tag\/franchise\/assassins-creed\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/strong><\/a> project out of the gates while fans are still passionate about your latest release is a smart move. With <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe<\/em> being Ubisoft&#8217;s most exciting prospect since perhaps Black Flag, it would stand to reason that they&#8217;d want to release it while they&#8217;re still winning, right?<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<p>Well, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NateTheHate2\/status\/2081946228326092941\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">NatetheHate<\/a>, a fairly reliable leaker, <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe<\/em> might not be just around the corner like we expected. The witch-infused next installment in the franchise might actually be a lot further away than we first imagined. Players who have explored every inch of Tortuga and are keen for the next Assassin&#8217;s Creed adventure might have to make do with remakes for the foreseeable future. If Nate is to be believed, we&#8217;re all in for a much longer wait for <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe<\/em> than expected. They don&#8217;t need to rush a reveal\/announcement&#8217;. This is quite worrying, as it would seem we still have over a year to wait for a new installment in the franchise. With Ubisoft&#8217;s recent redundancies and more hit-than-miss game launches, this seems like a poor decision if true. However, it does make sense as we&#8217;ve seen nothing official about the game since the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>If the game were launching sooner to capitalize on <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Blag Flag Resynced<\/em>, then we would have at least seen an official release date and an announcement trailer by now. It stands to reason that the lack of marketing and content reveals means that we&#8217;re in for a long wait for our adventures in Salem. One gamer response on X summed it up perfectly:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If Assassin\u2018s Creed Hexe will be released in second half of 2027, the reveal will happen March or April 2027, I think.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While another fan is hopeful that the success of <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Blag Flag Resynced<\/em> will lead to a popular franchise revival:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Now that Black flag remake is a big success for Ubisoft.<\/p>\n<p>Do you think they might reconsider reviving Prince of Persia Remake?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One thing seems relatively clear though; the lack of <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/assassins-creed-hexe-gameplay-teased-opinion\/\" target=\"_blank\">official information on <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe<\/em><\/a> most likely means the game is quite far away. Hopefully, Ubisoft can keep afloat between now and later next year as getting to play an Assassin&#8217;s Creed game set during the Salem Witch Trials sounds awesome. With a former Ubisoft creator working on <em>1666: Amsterdam<\/em>, it looks like 2027 is the year of the witch!<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Assassin&#8217;s Creed<\/strong> franchise has been hit-and-miss in recent years, but having a witch-themed game in the franchise to look forward to is definitely a positive. <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/assassins-creed-hexe-protagonist-first-look-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\">With only a first look at <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Hexe&#8217;s<\/em> protagonist<\/a> to go on so far, we&#8217;ll have to wait patiently for more official details to emerge. I guess we&#8217;ve all got plenty of time to replay <em>Assassin&#8217;s Creed Black Flag Resynced<\/em> and <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/assassins-creed-black-flag-historical-figures-real-people\/\" target=\"_blank\">learn everything there is to know about every historical figure<\/a> that features in the game.
