In addition to being dismembered, Celeste was in a deep state of decomposition after being murdered five months earlier in April, according to prosecutors. During day 1 of D4vd\u2019s preliminary hearing last week, photos were shown of her remains, which were described as <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/celeste-rivas-murder-graphic-photos-of-slain-teen-shown-in-d4vd-preliminary-hearing\/\">\u201cunrecognizable\u201d and having \u201c skin slippage.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/nolan-wells-investigation-new-evidene-may-prove-on-island-when-friends-left-witnesses-speak-out\/\"><strong>Related: New Evidence In Nolan Wells Investigation May Prove He Was On Island When Friends Left<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, a persistent question throughout the investigation has been whether or not the deceased 14-year-old was pregnant at the time of her death, as D4vd, 21, is accused of having intimate relations with the minor. In April, Celeste\u2019s death certificate was updated in a section indicating whether or not she was pregnant \u2014 where it previously noted she was NOT, that section was <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/celeste-rivas-death-certificate-startling-pregnancy-update-d4vd\/\">replaced with a \u201cU\u201d marker for \u201cunknown.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The switch came as more and more evidence came in detailing discussions of missed periods, pregnancy scares, Plan B, and more between Celeste and D4vd. During day 4 of his preliminary hearing, texts between Celeste and the <em>Romantic Homicide<\/em> singer revealed she became pregnant at just 13 years old, but <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/d4vd-graphic-sexual-photos-celeste-rivas-leave-parents-visibly-upset-murder-preliminary-hearing\/\">underwent an abortion in January 2024<\/a>. At the time, D4vd was 18. But that was over a YEAR before she was murdered\u2026 So was she pregnant again at the time of her death?<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, the <strong>Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office<\/strong> confirmed to <em>People<\/em> that Celeste was NOT carrying a child at the time of her murder on April 25, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s difficult to find any positivity in this case, but knowing Celeste wasn\u2019t pregnant while being murdered is certainly something of a relief.<\/p>\n<p>As we previously reported, Celeste and D4vd started talking on August 8, 2022, when she was only 11. The two began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when she was 13, which D4vd had graphic child sex abuse material imagery of on his phone.
